next stop, Amsterdam! I know you want to hear about allllllllll the wonderful things about Amsterdam. but in all honesty? it wasn’t nearly as exciting as I thought it would be. It was extremely crowded, and if you’re not watching where you’re going, you WILL get run over by a bicyclist. Yes…I said bicyclist. They are insane. I took a city bus tour, and went to a diamond factory, and I also saw the house where Anne Frank and her family were hiding during the Nazi occupation. Kind of chilling, if you ask me. I didn’t understand how people could stand in front of the house, smiling, pointing at the template that said ‘Anne Frank House’. But maybe that’s just me.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to take a tour of the Heinekin Company, or the bar/restaurant that is made completely out of ice. Guess I’ll just have to take a trip back!
